How to Make a 200 Calorie Cheeseburger

Over the last several years, using MyFitnessPal (an app that helps count your daily calories) has taught me to become very clever about how to save calories. I learned that you can usually find low calorie alternatives to your favorite foods. Today I’m going to share 3 low calorie alternatives I’ve found & love. Together, you can use these to make a delicious 200 calorie cheeseburger!

Boca Vegan Veggie Burgers:

For only 70 calories, these Boca burgers are an excellent alternative to traditional burgers. They taste just like the “real” thing. You don’t have to be a vegan or vegetarian to enjoy them. They can easily be found at most stores. I get mine at Wal Mart.

Go Veggie Cheddar Cheese:

For 40 calories a slice, this cheese has a similar taste & texture to the Kraft individually wrapped cheese slices. It’s lactose & gluten free. You can find this at Wal Mart in the produce section.

Nickles 35 Calorie Bread:

For 35 calories a slice, this bread is a huge calorie-saver. It comes in wheat, white, whole grain, & Italian. I get mine at Wal Mart.

I highly recommend these foods if you’re trying to eat fewer calories. I’ve been using all of them for several years. Even if you can’t find these exact brands, it’s worth taking a look at your favorite grocery store to see what kind of low calorie foods you can try. If you have any low calorie foods you love, leave them in the comments!
